Success was so close.
Science fiction is a genre that can take us to other worlds. However, science fiction films do not always manage to maintain a high level until the end and you want to escape from another world as soon as possible.
Sometimes a great story, great visuals and interesting characters are ruined by a bad ending. This is exactly what happened with the 8 science fiction movies we have collected for you today: they are fascinating, but until the last minutes, where the final chord only brings disappointment.
Science fiction often deals with the theme of time travel – and almost as often falls into the trap of time paradoxes, illogic and confusion. Making a really good time travel film without messing up the logic and sequence of events is a difficult task that few people accomplish.
This is exactly what happened with Immortality Corporation. Despite all its shortcomings and a hazy ending, this film still has a great script – so even the clichés are not taken so seriously. In addition, viewers notice the surprisingly good acting of Mick Jagger, lead singer of The Rolling Stones. He played Victor Vasendek in the film, the head of the security service that chased the fugitive racer.
Of course, The Corporation isn’t the best example of a time travel film, but if you want to immerse yourself in the nostalgia of ’90s films and admire Jagger’s unexpected acting talent, you can ignore the ending and watch this film anyway.
