EXCLUSIVE: Love Island is around the corner and ITV viewers have been eagerly awaiting all summer to see who is crowned Love Island winner, but what do the islanders do when the cameras stop rolling?
Love Island will be back on our screens on Monday 6th June for another romantic summer.
The eighth series may not have started yet, but what happens when the lucky couples reach the final?
Spectators watch as the finalists declare love and share a romantic dance before leaving the mansion the day before the final.
Fans of ITV2’s shows may not know that the contestants are already full and ready to go before the winner is announced; in fact, they have already left.
If you were to tour the country on the day of the live final, there would be hardly any sign of the contestants, as the workers would have already started their work.
Speaking to last year, Love Island 2020 winners Paige Turley and Finley Tapp shared what happens behind the scenes when you’re in the bottom four.

“We had a massage, we watched Netflix, I was with Jess [Gale]. “
Finn added: “I was with Ched [Uzor], you are not with your partner. You have a double room and Ched and I were just having massages.
After a long day of massages and room service, Paige said they have started preparing to go back to the villa.

The beauty explained that the islanders have to stay in the hotel room and the place where they are staying is quite remote, adding that none of the people staying there recognized them.
Finn explained how boys and women are greeted with a clothing bar the day before the final and boys have to choose from blazers, shirts and pants to put their outfits together.
Paige added: “I was wearing a dress that I brought with me. For Christmas my dad bought me a dress, so I told the producers I had a long dress and they said I could wear it.

The finale was certainly a fun night for the couple, but they said the talk night was a very enjoyable night for the islanders as it was the last night they were all together in the village.
As for the duo ending, Paige and Finn were crowned Love Island 2020 winners, with Siannise and Luke T in second place.
Love Island is back on ITV2 and ITV Hub on Monday 6 June at 9pm.
