The fantasy adventure will end its season in a few weeks and return with a new season in 2025.
Based on the epic novel by JRR Tolkien, the film universe “The Lord of the Rings” continues to live on screen years after the release of Peter Jackson’s legendary trilogy – and the most devoted fans have been following the new episodes of “Rings of the Rings Power”, a project based on all this famous history.
The series premiered in 2022, and the second season began airing in late August, giving fans three episodes on release day. Now, there’s very little left until the finale – the second season, which had 8 episodes, has only 3 left to be released, with the final episode scheduled to premiere in early October.

“Rings of Power” is a new addition to the cinematic universe, created from “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit”, but the series is not a continuation of both film trilogies. The action takes place during the second age of Tolkien’s Legendarium and includes the most important events of that time: the appearance of the Rings of Power, the rise of Sauron, the Last Alliance of Elves and Men.
“Rings of Power” became a huge hit on Prime Video and received critical acclaim from critics and viewers, resulting in at least a few more seasons.
