That’s what outraged the fans.
Not everyone can be as courageous as George RR Martin in killing off characters important to the plot.
The loss of one of the main characters not only hardens fans against the author at this point, but also creates a lot of plot problems in the long run.
And judging by Bakugo’s fate in My Hero Academia, it’s safe to say the creators weren’t up to such a challenge.
In episode 11 of season 7, Katsuki fell in battle against Tomura Shigaraki, who tore his heart out with one blow.
It seems that the audience had to survive the initial shock, process the grief over the death of their pet, and follow further events in a passionate desire for revenge.

This is roughly what it might be like for anyone unfamiliar with Kohei Horikoshi’s manga.
The thing is, the original didn’t say goodbye to Bakugou at all. In chapter 362, his heartbeat actually stopped, but Edgeshot was close by, and thanks to his ability to shrink, he managed to save his friend.
He entered the body of a fallen comrade and healed the ruptured organ, allowing him to return to action in Chapter 403.
Katsuki continued to fight, causing confusion among readers.
What could have been one of the most tragic moments of the series, a moral collapse for Deku, turned into absurdity, as Bakugo’s death became essentially completely meaningless – just shock value.
However, the mangaka also had defenders who refuted the theory of his cowardice.

In their view, killing a character would undermine the whole idea of the story: the desire to find hope and cling to it no matter what.
If the anime makers agree with this opinion, viewers have nothing to worry about and Katsuki will definitely come back to life.
We will wait and see.
