The visit of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to the UK after a two-year absence will have touched the Queen’s heart, says Lizzie Cundy.

The TV host befriended the former actress when she was an unknown actress in the American legal drama Suits.

Since meeting Prince Harry, Meghan has reportedly cut off all contact with her famous British friends, including Lizzie and Piers Morgan.

Now WAG has shared his thoughts on his journey to visit the Queen, 96, with their children Archie Harrison, three, and Lilibet, 11 months.

This is the first time that the royal family has met little Lilibet, who bears the name of the queen.

Speaking exclusively with, Lizzie said, “I think they’ve struck a chord in Queen’s heart.

“He hasn’t seen Lilibet, he wants to meet his great granddaughter, this may be the last time he does, so obviously the queen will let them come.”

Lizzie had previously revealed that she believed Meghan and Harry were in the UK to distract the Queen from her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The mother of two said, “It’s about making the queen shine in her platinum jubilee, 70 years of service.

“Maybe they could take a page out of the Queen’s book and see how they should behave.

“They decided they weren’t real, they didn’t want to work in the royal family, they didn’t want to perform their royal duties, so they should have the decency I feel to stay away from.”

Lizzie continued: “They should let the queen have fun and not let them pay attention to them, they know the attention will be on them, she knows exactly what she is doing.

“I think they’ll take the queen’s shine away, I really pray they don’t.

“The Royals are very aware of what they are doing, but I don’t think they will be stopped.”

Although they came to the UK to celebrate, the Sussexes faced the greatest affront when they were banished from the Buckingham Palace balcony during Trooping The Color.

They also sat apart from the Queen during the ceremony at Horseguards, sitting in the Major General’s office with Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, Mia Tindall, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Louis, Prince George and Princess Charlotte,
