Critics Name the 10 Worst TV Shows of All Time

We don’t waste time on them.

Not all TV shows are destined to be masterpieces. In the world of television, mistakes happen, and even projects with big budgets or star casts can ultimately flop. Critics have repeatedly criticized such shows for weak writing, lackluster acting, or ridiculous plot twists.

In this list, we’ve collected ten TV shows that are barely worth wasting your time on. From overly ambitious experiments to failed sequels, these shows certainly made history, but certainly not in the way they intended.

As our list shows, even the participation of truly talented stars may not save the show if the writing is truly bad. For example, we might not have seen the legendary Barry in How I Met Your Mother if the failure of Stark Crazy had defined Neil Patrick Harris’ career.

And Mayem Bialik, who captivated everyone with her role as Amy Fowler in “The Big Bang Theory”, could not save “Call Me Kat”. The failure of the series can be explained by the fact that it rather toothlessly tried to copy the successful British series “Miranda” with a very similar plot – but unfortunately did not add a single unique character.

At the same time, “Miranda” is a really beloved project among viewers: on Rotten Tomatoes it has 75% from critics and 91% from viewers, and on Kinopoisk users rated it 8.0. Another lesson in how to look for something of your own, and not blindly copy others.
