Hello to all fashionistas! Your fashion editor is here. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to start an online diary where I will make notes about the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are usually called personal, mine is open to all readers – so you can be aware of the most interesting things.

September is one of the busiest months in the fashion industry. And there can be no exception. In this week alone, stylists, buyers and bloggers managed to watch a dozen fashion shows in New York and travel to London (where fashion week starts today). Representatives of the fashion world also admired the new covers of Beyoncé, Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez, discussed a possible collaboration between Jacquemus and Apple (only Simon Porte Jacquemus was not seen at the presentation of the new iPhone) and carefully studied the news about the collaboration between Calvin Klein and Nensi Dojaka.

There were really interesting events this week, so I suggest you take a short digital journey with me into the latest news from the fashion world and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we start?

Fashion and art are inextricably linked; they complement and transform each other, developing in symbiosis. Designers are often inspired by artists, and they are happy to collaborate with brands and create something beautiful for them. Therefore, this week, the Qari Qris brand presented a collaboration with the From Saba brand and the artist Nadya Zheleznova. As part of the collaboration, a silk scarf with illustrations using graphic techniques was created. “Rider” is about the girls of Qari Qris: brave, free, flying towards change. The strong wind that carries clouds across the sky, develops the grass in the field and the heroine’s hair, rhymes with Qari Qris, which translates from Georgian as “the wind blows”. And this wind blows for everyone in its own way,” the brand team shares.

The Russian brand Red September has gone through a full cycle from “Endorphin” to “Vacuum” and from there to “Therapy” and now it is turning a new page. The brand team is returning from the mode of protecting emotional resources to actively discussing difficult issues. In the collection “Impulse” the brand reflects the phenomenon of toxicity, which is constantly on the public agenda.

The collection directly echoes the associations with the word “toxicity”. The jeans’ colors were given an experimental wash, and the cardigans and zip-up hoodies looked as if something had been burnt. Many objects were marked with a striped pattern; something similar could be seen if you shined a flashlight on a burnt film strip. The neon down jacket is a clear example of “toxicity,” but it doesn’t look aggressive. The women’s collection, which is all the rage for SS24, will feature even more options for iconic “knits”: jeans and bottoms can be paired with different leggings to create new color schemes. But the favorite of the collection is a sweatshirt with a cat and the words “Professional Toxic.” This is what we got!

Who said summer is over? The weather clearly disagrees (and neither do we, admittedly). You’re still not in the mood for cozy sweaters and formal coats, so we recommend treating yourself to something summery. For example, the brand Embody recently released a blouse in soft fabric, with ruffles and a very pretty collar. By the way, it’s easy to combine it with autumnal items: jackets, loose jeans and biker jackets. And if you’re going on vacation soon, that usually means you’re 100% on target.

The new season is always accompanied by new brand discounts and incredibly beautiful campaigns. So, recently the Yana fashion house presented a new couture collection, in which the splendor and diversity of oriental art are harmoniously intertwined: Japanese cherry, Chinese dragons and Indian embroidery. Silhouettes combine slender forms that demonstrate the naturalness and uniqueness of the figure, while emphasizing mystery and attractive femininity. It is this view of female beauty that is inherent in Eastern traditions. The products showcase clear and structured lines, a variety of rich, noble shades, exotic prints and luxurious fabrics. The new collection is a manifestation of individuality and cultural diversity.

Shall we be friends?
