Fans are demanding the full version of the film.

Star Wars is going through tough times. George Lucas’ legendary franchise has lost all respect from fans after Disney bought the rights to the space opera. All the latest series in the universe have been met with a barrage of criticism from critics and fans, and there have been no new films released in a few years.

Given the dire state of Star Wars, fans have decided to take the future of the franchise into their own hands. Recently, an enthusiast who goes by the moniker demonflyingfox released a trailer for Star Wars on YouTube, as if it were set not in a distant galaxy, but in the southern United States.

The trailer created using a neural network was called “Star Wars: Return of the Redneck.”

Fans were shocked by the quality of the neural network. In this trailer, Yoda was transformed into a gray-haired alcoholic drinking moonshine from a dirty pot, and Luke and Leia appeared as archetypal high school students from films about life in the American South.

But what really caught the attention of Star Wars fans was the new image of Darth Vader. The neural network saw him as a giant beard-wrecker and placed a camouflage cap on the classic villain’s helmet.

Fans loved demonflyingfox’s work so much that they began bombarding the franchise’s creative director, Kathleen Kennedy, with offers to hire the blogger.

“If they made a full-length movie based on this trailer, I would definitely go to the theater to see it. This is a hundred times better than what Disney produces.” – said the fan.

The video has already been viewed nearly 1 million times on YouTube and fans are already offering the blogger financial support to completely remake Return of the Jedi in the style of the American South.
