The streaming release was delayed by almost five months.
Pixar’s sequel to Inside Out has become the summer’s most popular film, overtaking Deadpool and Wolverine not only in box office receipts but also in audience and critic ratings.
Inside Out 2 took the studio nearly 10 years to develop, and the incredible efforts of Pixar animators paid off in the first weeks after its release. An on-budget graphic novel $200 million promoted all over the world $1.7 billion, has become the most successful project of recent years.
American film critics rated the quality of the sequel as 91% “freshness,” and Rotten Tomatoes users were completely generous with it 95%.

Since the film was released in early September on June 12, Pixar fans began to worry that Disney would decide not to release Inside Out 2 on streaming.
Fortunately, representatives from the streaming service Disney+ have reassured fans of Kelsey Mann’s cartoon: “Inside Out 2” will be released on streaming, and very soon.
It will be released on Disney+ on September 25, 5 months after its theatrical release. Inside Out 2 is still doing decent box office in theaters, so the producers’ decision to delay the digital release is understandable.

Fans of Inside Out will also be happy to know that the idea of a threequel is already being discussed. The story of the emotions of the girl Riley proved so profitable that we can count on a third part in the future.
Admittedly, it will be a long wait for “Puzzle 3” – insiders are confident that the new part will appear only in early 2030.
