Anime is taking over Hollywood.
After the incredible success of the live-action adaptations of One Piece and Avatar, Hollywood producers realized that audiences loved realistic adaptations of Japanese anime.
Lionsgate has already signed director Destin Daniel Cretton to direct an adaptation of the legendary anime Naruto, Legendary has bought the rights to a Hollywood remake of My Hero Academia, and Sony Pictures is developing a live-action remake of One Punch Man.
And that’s not all. Recently, insider DanielRPK shocked Japanese animation fans with some unexpected news – Warner Bros. bought the rights to the film adaptation of Taito Kubo’s cult manga “Bleach.”

Yes, the legendary story about a simple man Ichigo Kurosaki, who sees the dead and helps demons leave the human world, could very soon become a prestigious Hollywood film.
The original anime was released in 2004 and quickly became popular, similar to One Piece and Naruto.
Rumor has it that studio executives have just begun looking for a writer and director for the project, but fans are already theorizing about how the upcoming film will end.

Some history buffs aren’t sure Bleach even needs a Hollywood remake. Although most agree that Taito Kubo would only sell the film rights if he was confident in the quality of the project.
The anime “Bleach” has an excellent rating in 8.0 points on Kinopoisk and its spin-off Bleach: The Thousand-Year Bloody War, the episodes of which are now being released, received a lot of praise from the Russians 8.6 points.
