It’s hard to be a fan of TV series that haven’t ended yet: you never know when your favorite project will be canceled at the most interesting point. Many such series are due to be released in 2024, but fans of some can relax: the green light for the second season has been received and now it’s just a matter of waiting for the sequel.

“Mr. and Mrs. Smith” had a very long and difficult time getting to premiere. It was originally supposed to be the child of the collaboration of Donald Glover and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (you probably remember her from the brilliant comedy series “Fleabag”). However, Waller-Bridge later left the project – according to media reports, the creative process never got off the ground and she and Glover had disagreements about the project.
In May, there were rumors that season one stars Donald Glover and Maya Erskine would not be returning for the sequel. But showrunner Francesca Sloan says that is not the case. She denies the media reports and assures fans that a second season has not even been written yet. At the same time, she promised to explain the ending of the first season in the sequel.
