The premiere is next week.
Despite all the controversy surrounding Rings of Power, it was only a matter of time before the series continued.
In the second season, the creators will delve deeper into several storylines, including the horrific transformation of the Southern Lands into the fiery wasteland of Mordor as a result of the ‘corrupt’ elf Adar.
Viewers should be prepared for the villain’s appearance to undergo some changes, as Joseph Mole has left the project.
On social networks, the actor explained his action with the desire to adjust his career and supported the rest of the cast, emphasizing that there was no animosity between him and the film crew.
This isn’t the show’s only loss: for the same reason, Nazanin Boniadi, who played Bronwyn, did not return to the set.
However, they did not look for another actress for their heroine, leaving open the possibility of joining the team later.
Perhaps Adar is too important a character to simply leave out of the story, so the creators made changes to the script and cast Sam Hazeldine as the Game of Thrones star’s replacement.
Audiences may know him from the films “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” and “The Last Duel”, but also from the TV series “The Witcher” and “Sandman”.
It is not yet known what the arc of the controversial hero will look like.
Perhaps the audience will finally learn why Adar angered Sauron, how the leader of the orcs became what he is, and how his life will end.
New episodes will be released on August 29 on the Prime Video platform.
