It’s hard to believe it’s been six years since the elder Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence met again.
The first part of the final season was released in July this year and there are two more in store for viewers.
While the premiere date for the next five episodes has already been announced – November 15the exact release dates for the finale remain unknown.
Luckily for fans, Martin Kove, who played John Kreese, lifted the veil on the mystery and provided some clear guidance.
In the podcast Inside You with Michael Rosenbaum, the actor said that the newest episodes can be expected in February 2025.
He also gave hints about the content of the long-awaited ending:
“Well, there’s going to be a lot of redemption and closure for Kreese’s character arc. The next few episodes are going to be incredibly exciting, with something for everyone. The characters are being developed and it’s so exciting. We’re No. 1 in the world right now.”
According to Cove, the franchise’s villain will have a satisfying, even wholesome ending.
In turn, co-writer Josh Hurwitz briefly described the show’s future events.
Fans are transported to Barcelona for the biggest and craziest martial arts tournament ever in the world of The Karate Kid.
He and his colleagues are well aware of the responsibility they have to the fan base and will do everything they can to ensure that “the story of Johnny and Daniel, which began in 1984, ends in the most interesting and dignified way possible.”
