Linda surprised her co-stars by appearing as a previous incarnation of the matriarch of the royal family, complete with cropped white hair and a veil.
Viewers of Thursday’s (June 2) episode of ITV’s hit daytime show couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the panel transformed into different versions of The Queen.
Along with host Kaye Adams and speakers Jane Moore and Gloria Hunniford, Linda attracted the attention of viewers who thought her resemblance to Liz was rather disturbing.
Fans of the series took to Twitter to share their delight with the costumes.
One wrote: “Actually I can’t help but laugh at loose women dressed as queens, Linda Robson is a lookalike.”
Another posted: “Poor Linda pulled the straw with the veil. Jane and Kate look old with their original hair color. Gloria has a divine aspect.
A third social media user tweeted: “Well, I didn’t expect that when I turned on the TV to watch Loose Women today, it looks amazing, so patriotic I love it.”
A fourth viewer said, “Linda looks so much like the queen in this dress, then she opens her mouth and you remember it’s her lol.”
Loose Women marked the Jubilee with an extended special in which they recorded live footage of the queen accompanied on the Buckingham Palace balcony by close family members.
The lineup saw her joined by William and Kate, as well as Edward and Sophie and Charles and Camilla.
However, in particular, Prince Andrew and Meghan and Harry did not attend the meeting at the famous residence; however, Meghan and Harry were later photographed behind the balcony mingling with various extended family members.
Royal historian and expert Hugo Vickers also joined the panel to discuss events at Buckingham Palace.
