The actress became close friends with her creator, Sam Levinson, from the first season of Euphoria, but after February 2022, when the show’s final episode was released, a black cat ran between them. The Dune star thinks too much of herself.
Levinson’s work on the failed “Idol” delayed the writing of the script for the third season of “Euphoria,” and Zendaya wasn’t happy about it. She began harassing HBO executives with phone calls, demanding answers as to why the director was allowed to appear on “Idol” before he released the sequel to her series.
Things only got worse in March 2023 when rumors surfaced online about tensions on the Idol set. Zendaya’s fans began urging her to end any relationship with Levinson, as he is reportedly very toxic. But now the conflict seems to have faded into the background.
Levinson’s first attempt to come up with an idea for a new season that would see Zendaya play a private investigator was rejected by both HBO and Zendaya.
