BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty suffered an unfortunate microphone mistake outside Buckingham Palace.
Naga hosted BBC Breakfast live from Buckingham Palace on Thursday morning (June 2nd) during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, but for a while it all went wrong.
He updated viewers on the royal celebrations ahead of the historic Trooping of the Color parade which took place Thursday in the gigantic building in London.
However, Naga needed a quick drink during the show and ended up interrupting BBC colleague Ashley John-Baptiste seconds after reporting.
Naga had just finished talking to royal historian Kate Williams and handed it to Ashley, who was joining the royal fans gathered at the mall.

But he made a quick request for a glass of water as he wrestled with the royal blanket for a minute, and it seemed like he forgot to turn off the microphone.
This meant that Naga’s offer to make a drink thwarted Ashley’s introduction, so viewers heard her say, “Can I have a glass of water please?” from behind the camera.
Fortunately, Ashley seemed relatively indifferent to Naga’s request and managed to carry out her relationship.

Fans have been waiting for hours for the royal festivities to begin, with some traveling from Calgary to Canada for the Jubilee, marking 70 years of Her Majesty’s service to the throne.
A fan from Melbourne, Australia said: “A fan from Melbourne, Australia said: ‘It’s a dream come true, obviously with the pandemic I didn’t expect to get here.
“I can’t wait to see it all and be a part of it. We don’t have it in Australia. “

Earlier in the show, Naga spoke with royal correspondent Daniela Relph about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who will be attending the events this weekend.
The royal expert has confirmed that the Sussexes will see the Trooping the Color parade, but will be in a separate building.
He said: “They will be part of a larger royal group who will watch Trooping from a separate building. They will therefore not be part of the grand ceremony, but will be present with other members of the royal family.
