I had a hard time watching the first episode of the series “Nonnormal” (there was only one reason, and you’ll laugh when you hear about it)

Not so long ago, a new domestic series called “Normalnaya” was released. On Kinopoisk, the new product already scored as much as 7.2 points, but in reality the series turned out to be a bit boring. But it has one feature that somehow made it last the first episode.

What is this series about?

First, some background: the plot revolves around a girl who had a terrible accident. Because of the abundance of bandages on her face in the hospital, everyone teases her as a mummy. She used to be confident in herself, but now she has become bitter towards the whole world (which is not surprising). The girl’s only goal is to take revenge on the perpetrator of the accident. To do this, she looks for new tricks to stay in the hospital longer and gather a team there to carry out her plan.

It sounds interesting, but in reality it is just another reasonable series for once. There is not much advertising or promotion, and it is not interesting to watch, to say the least. But there is something else in the series that deserves attention.

Namely, the way the creators parodied famous food brands and obsessively put them in the picture. So the water called “Holy Spring” became “I Am Your Source”, and Lay’s chips became Slice.

The “Dobry” juice also suffered – it was changed to “Good”. But a strange joke is the Pulpy drink, from which the L was removed from the name (or simply lies down to rest) and has now become Pu-Py.

I love the writers for their ingenuity and sense of humor. Maybe these pseudo-brands are the only reason to watch the series to the end.
