The public’s taste is very specific.
Although ‘Breaking Bad’ ended more than 10 years ago, it is still being reviewed and worthy analogues are being sought. We are talking about 5 top TV shows that shared (or almost surpassed) Breaking Bad’s record of 9.5 points on IMDb.
Which series reached the top?
In first place, of course, is Breaking Bad itself. But number 2 will surprise you quite a bit. We don’t think you’ll guess what it is, so we’ll say right away: it’s the series “Planet Earth 2” (9.5 points). And this is not some kind of post-apocalyptic horror film, but a nature documentary from the BBC. Well, meth is meth, and the tiger cubs and lion cubs are on schedule. By the way, third place went to the first part of the same series (9.4 points), so let’s count them as one.
Next in the ranking is the American historical series “Band of Brothers” (9.4 points), and right after it “Chernobyl” (9.3 points), released in 2019. This is where the top 5 theoretically ends, but since we combined projects from the BBC and the winner is already known to everyone, here are two more cool shows.

The old series “The Wire” (9.3 points), which was released in 2002, does not lag behind the story about Chernobyl.

And our top five is completed by a very unexpected series. First of all, this is an anime. Secondly, it is not Attack on Titan or Evangelion at all. A title called “Avatar: The Last Airbender” (9.3 points), released in 2005, managed to overtake everyone.
