In the film, he was demonized even further, becoming a ruthless and calculating killer. It’s no surprise then that his death was the most anticipated event of the season.
In the book, the revolutionary and traitor was killed by a mob of archers, who also had to deal with the rest of his Green army, in a bloodbath called the Butcher’s Ball. In the series, we will disappoint many, the death of the hero in the second season is most likely not to be expected.
Because most likely, judging by the plot development, “The Butcher’s Ball” will take place in the third season. So the creepy character will get what he deserves, but bloodthirsty fans will have to be patient.
