There is a hole in the old woman’s face.

Pixar studio is known for its perfect cartoons. It seems that all the animated films of the studio become blockbusters and masterpieces. But this is far from the truth. There are also completely disastrous films. It is true that Pixar knows how to ‘fail’ at the same time so that it goes unnoticed by the average person. Nevertheless, the fiasco is still there. And we will tell you about it now.

We don’t agree with all the cartoons on the list, but who are we to argue with world statistics. And generally they don’t argue about taste, they just scream. So a list of bad Pixar cartoons for your attention:

The cartoon didn’t turn out so well that it is still confused with the story about the ant Antz. A slow plot or boring graphics, but I don’t want to watch it at all and I don’t want to show it to my children. Unlike, for example, ‘Monsters, Inc.’, which hasn’t aged at all in more than twelve years.

“Monsters University”

Despite the success of the first part, the sequel, and in fact the prequel, could not repeat the box office success. The second cartoon about monsters and their adventures in educational institutions was received without much enthusiasm by viewers and the box office receipts for the film turned out to be moderate.

This is a case when it was clearly not worth making a sequel. Despite the excellent and stimulating idea, the characters did not fall in love with the audience at all, no one imagined themselves “in their place”, there was no excitement, and subsequent attempts to regain, or rather, win, the viewer’s interest were not crowned with success, but, on the contrary, they further strengthened the failure of the effect.

“I am blushing”

An atypical experiment for Pixar turned out to be a failure. Well, or rather a failure: the ratings on IMDb and Kinopoisk turned out to be 7 and 7.1 respectively. For studio products, however, this is a failure. It would be better to film a proven classic like ‘Souls’, which by the way became a box office champion, as opposed to ‘I’m Blushing’.

The Toy Story spin-off became the biggest box office hit in Pixar’s history. Maybe because they drew it in 2022, and it seemed like they came to their senses a little too late. Or maybe because the plot has outlived its usefulness. But the fact remains that the cartoon didn’t appeal to the general public at all. And for good reason.
