The beginning of the first season

After the death of the emperor, who leaves the country without an heir, each of the great houses begins to make its own plans for the throne.

In the cold lands of the Volkonskys, Prince Vladimir tries to protect his possessions from the attacks of his neighbors and strengthen his position in the north. At this time, Mikhail Romanovsky weaves intrigues from the center of the empire, makes secret alliances and bribes influential nobles.

In the south, Kazbek of Cherkassy is gathering troops and preparing for a war for his country’s independence, while in the west, Fyodor of Suzdal tries to maintain peace and acts as a mediator between the warring houses.

However, it soon becomes clear that there is a conspiracy behind the Emperor’s death, and that each house has its own secrets and ulterior motives. In the battle for the throne, they will face betrayal, unexpected alliances and bloody battles, where only the strongest and most cunning can survive.
