Nigeria’s first lady gave a major report on the debut year of her husband’s reign and made it clear that she was categorically unhappy with the outfits Markle chose for her African tour. Prince Harry’s wife showed off dresses with bare shoulders and backs, which Tunubu found unacceptable.
“The point here is that we have to save our children. Girls and women in Nigeria do not want to imitate American movie stars. We see how they dress – nudity is everywhere. They don’t know where they come from. They always forget that this is Nigeria,” Remy repeated from the stands.
In her passage, the politician mentioned Markle’s name only once and asked “why did she come here,” but that was enough for the press. A clip of the First Lady of Nigeria’s speech became popular on the internet, even prompting the Nigerian to explain himself.
Reportedly, there was no criticism of Markle at all.
“The First Lady made no comment on the Duchess’s outfits. Tinubu’s office also said her comments were taken out of context. She meant that Meghan values the people we are and that is why she came here,” reports AFP Fact Check, but the public thinks differently.
The scandalous couple could probably have noticed that despite the heat and heat, local Nigerian women wear clothes that completely cover their bodies, but Megan, despite all the hints, never changed her outfit to a more covered one.
