10 new anime you need to watch on Netflix this May

For viewers who still think of anime as cartoons for children, it’s time to change your mind. Every year this genre tells a wide audience stories full of not only exciting adventures, but also painfully familiar themes for all adults.

The problems of burnout, loneliness in the family, arranged marriages and much more were revealed by these 10 new products that should not be ignored:

A life-affirming anime about the end of the world, described as “Zombie Apocalypse and a List of 100 Things I’ll Do Before I Die.” The story about office worker Akira, who discovers the meaning of life in the midst of a global catastrophe, appealed to the tastes of the older audience. Reviewers responded warmly to the animated series, but warned that the monsters provide more of a backdrop against which the real comedy unfolds.

Events develop much more dramatically in the anime “Good Night, World” about the dysfunctional Akabane family, which shares one secret with everyone. Netflix subscribers were surprised that the company released a project without the hateful “agenda” and with non-standard plot solutions. Reviewers gave the story a rating of 6.8 and warned that the first episode may seem boring, but it will be hard to stop watching.

For anyone who wants to see what Japanese matriarchy and a male harem look like, ‘Inner Chambers’ has been released. Its brutal Edo-era customs, wholesome portrayal of feminism and haunting soundtrack captivated audiences around the world. Reviewers shared raves about the project, but warned that this may be the most unusual anime.
