The singer’s first wife was Alla Abdalova. They were married for ten years, but no heirs were born. Then Leshchenko himself was against it, because he was young and hot-headed and was almost never at home because of concerts. He pushed for abortion. The couple would have twins and a boy.

The artist has been in his second marriage with Irina Yagudina for more than 40 years, but there were also no children in this union. This time Leshchenko was ready to become a father, but his wife could not give him what he wanted. My health failed. There were thoughts of adopting a foster child, but the family did not dare.

“That’s what we thought, but we had an example of adopted children from my neighbors and my wife’s neighbors, but unfortunately it didn’t work out. And we know artists who took children and then gave them away. I wouldn’t want to follow this example.”said Lev Valeryanovich in the program “Legend” on RTVI.

For a long time, the singer’s wife could not accept the fact that she could not get pregnant. She considered it a real curse, but over time she still accepted her fate.

“This accident happened to me, and then it happened again. And this determined my biggest problem: problems. I always had some kind of hope, to achieve something for a very long time, I probably spent 10-12 years on this… This sadness runs deep.’”, the Komsomolskaya Pravda portal quotes Leshchenko’s wife.
