Royal wedding: First images of the ‘yes I want’ by Mafalda from Bulgaria and Marc Abouleisman

Mafalda from Bulgaria and her boyfriend said ‘I do’ yesterday afternoon during a civil wedding in Palma de Mallorca. Mafalda is the eldest daughter of Prince Kyril of Bulgaria and art consultant Rosario Nadal, and today she becomes the wife of Marc Abousleiman, an engineer and son of Camille Abousleiman, former Minister of Labor of Lebanon. The young couple have been together for over eight years and yesterday they sealed their love at one of the most important royal weddings of the year. Mafalda is the first of 11 grandchildren of the last king of Bulgaria to pass through the altar. One of the most anticipated guests was the Infanta Cristina, who was seen near Mafalda’s father’s house, confirming her presence at the wedding. Cristina and the bride have a very close relationship, so much so that Mafalda is the godmother of Irene Urdangarín. Last Friday the pre-wedding took place, which was attended by royals Kubrat from Bulgaria and Carla Royo-Villanova, among others.

Mafalda and Marc have tried to keep all the details secret of his marriage, although some details have emerged. It was practically confirmed that the wedding dress was in the hands of Valentino, the company with which her mother has had a close relationship since the 1990s. As for the guests, rumors pointed to the presence of Mette-Marit, Simeón de Bulgaria, Olivia, among others, Palermo and her husband, Johannes Huebl, the artist Marie Lang and the model Edison Kelmendi.

Here we have some footage of the guests arriving at the ceremony site.
