Samantha Jade is candid about the personal suffering she endured while running Celebrity Apprentice Australia last season.
The 35-year-old singer said she would return home tired and in tears after a day of filming the TV series Kanal Nine.
Making a poignant confession, Samantha thanked her handsome boyfriend, former Sony Music executive Pat Handlin, for helping her through her tough times.

She said Pat reminded her that there was a world “beyond the show.”
Dinners and walks with the couple’s dog, Banks, a Cavoodle also helped the X-Factor winner deal with the “madness” he found on the set of Celebrity Apprentice.

“I think The X Factor is a little safer for me because singing is my comfort zone.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Samantha said she’s excited to represent the Celebrity Apprentice Cancer Council, which she describes as her dream charity.
Samantha has her own personal connection to the disease.

Her mother, Jacqui Gibbs, died of cancer in 2014, and Samantha said she was grateful that the program was trying to raise money to fight the disease.
Samantha recently talked about her fear of having to change her marriage three times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Hitmaker has been engaged to Pat since 2019 and plans to go down the aisle soon.
‘We’re finally back’ [wedding] return to planning mode. I started three times and had to cancel each time, it was terrible,” he said.

Samantha, who won Hitmaker: X-Factor Australia’s 2012 song contest, described Celebrity Apprentice Australia as “crazy”.
