The gypsy Rosa Blanchard talks about his complicated childhood in the first part of Lifetime The prison confessions of the gypsy Rose Blanchard. A recently released 32-year-old woman makes a shocking accusation against her grandfather: Dee Dee Blanchard father Claude Pitré Sr.. Gypsy claims that her grandfather “sexually abused” and “sexually raped” her when she and Dee Dee lived with him for a time.
“They were sexually abusing me, sexually abusing me. My grandfather made me get out of the wheelchair and took me to a closet or shack behind his house, where he was a carpenter and performed sexual acts on me,” says Gypsy. “He made me touch it. He would touch me. At 9 years old, I don’t think I knew I was wrong. But then my grandfather told me not to tell anyone.”
She adds: “I didn’t want him to get into trouble, so I kept quiet.” Later, a producer asks Claude about Gypsy’s accusations against him. He denies his niece’s claims.

“Oh no. No never [abused her]” he says. “That was the first time I heard about it. “We always played together and we always did stuff together and stuff like that.”
Claude continues to make his disturbing accusation. “She [Gypsy] He was trying to touch me,” says Claude. “I would say no. Do not do it. She was the one trying to… touch me and I said no. Do not do it. “She started doing it when she was about 4 years old… she was trying to touch me.”
Gypsy shoots her grandfather and stands up for her truth. “It just confirms that I want nothing to do with him,” she says. “I would have had more forgiveness in my heart if I had told the truth.”
Evans Pitre, Gypsy’s uncle, gives his opinion on Gypsy’s accusations. “No, I don’t think that happened,” Evans says of the alleged abuse. “He was probably taught by her mother.”
Gypsy responds to her grandfather’s denial. “There’s no part of me that wonders whether or not this happened,” Gypsy points out. “It 100% happened. And you can take him to the grave if you want, but the only person who won’t visit him in the grave is me.”
Gypsy was released from prison on December 28 after serving 8 years in prison for her role in her mother’s murder. Gitana, a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, conspired to kill Dee Dee with her ex-boyfriend nicolas godejohn, who committed the crime. After being released from prison, Gypsy is eager to start a new chapter with her husband. Ryan Anderson.
The prison confessions of the gypsy Rose Blanchard airs for 3 nights. The next two parts of the docuseries will air January 6 and 7 on Lifetime.
