EastEnders star Michelle Collins has revealed the real reason she is banned from working behind the Queen Vic bar.
The 61-year-old actress played Cindy Beale in the BBC soap from 1988 to 1998 and reprized the role last year.
But one fan wonders why Cindy hasn’t returned to her old job at Walford’s famous bar.
The viewer further wrote: “I’m also waiting for you to become a victim queen with George.”
Michelle replied: “Ha ha! Thanks, but I’m not good with props. I used to work at #oldvic @bbceastenders years ago. I was fired for breaking too many glasses!’

Michelle replied: “Ha ha! Thanks, but I’m not good with props. I used to work at #oldvic @bbceastenders years ago. I was fired for breaking too many glasses!’
Before returning to Albert Square, Michelle built a successful career on stage and screen, having starred as Rovers Return owner Stella Price in rival soap Coronation Street.
She has also appeared in stage productions of musicals such as Thoroughly Modern Millie and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
It comes after Michelle landed back in the UK on Tuesday after being stranded in Spain due to a lost passport and revealed she spent £100 on an emergency document to get home.
She was seen leaving the terminal at Luton Airport in the afternoon. Her husband Mike Davidson (38) kindly picked her up at the airport.
Michelle used to go there
In an update before her flight, she wrote: “Going home!” Sorted online, paid £100 for the emergency document, texted the British consul at 9am this morning. (sic)’
Michelle admitted it was a “stressful” experience but she was just happy to be “safe, fit and healthy”.
She added: “Pheew, not very stressful to say the least but it could have been a lot worse, I’m safe, fit and well.”
“Many thanks to all the nice people here and friends who helped me xx (sic)”
Michelle was barred from boarding an EasyJet flight on Monday after she lost her passport.

The 61-year-old actress played Cindy Beale in the BBC soap from 1988 to 1998 and reprized the role last year.
The star asked her airline EasyJet for help after realizing she had lost her passport at the airport.
But she later revealed that flight staff refused to allow her to board the flight and that she planned to visit the embassy on Tuesday to obtain an emergency document that would allow her to travel home.
In a New Year’s appeal to the airline, she wrote on X: “Please @easyJet can you help me?” I lost my passport at Malaga airport. The police (I was there) say it is for the airline to let me fly. Home, my flight leaves at 8:30 tonight. I drive to the airport, having just left the police station. Thank you Michele x (sic)’
She later posted: “No one is very helpful @easyJet it’s terrible (sic)”
Michelle later updated her fans and revealed that she was banned from flying after she tried to get a temporary passport at the embassy but it was closed.
She added: “Thanks to most of you for your helpful comments. I wasn’t allowed to fly, so I went to the embassy, which was closed, and applied online for an emergency document. Let’s see what happens. I will go there when.” It’s open tomorrow morning. (sic)’
Friends and fans gushed over the star when she confirmed she had managed to get a flight home, replying to her post with supportive comments.
One wrote: “Hooray!! I am so happy for you. Now go back and film more EastEnders for us. Yes!!!’
A second wrote: “This is brilliant Michelle.” I’m so glad it’s all sorted out. I missed the original post, but I’m so glad you’re doing well and will be home soon. Happy New Year, beautiful lady. Best regards, Michael X’.

Unfortunately, Michelle was not allowed to board an EasyJet flight on Monday after she lost her passport

However, she later revealed that airline staff refused her entry to the flight despite her attempts to speak to Easy Jet
A third shouted: “I’m so glad you did it!” I know how stressful these things can be. Thank God you are safe and sound XX’ and a fourth added: ‘Have a nice trip.’
Despite admitting she would be filming scenes from EastEnders, Michelle tried to think positively by reminding herself she was “alive and safe”.
An easyJet spokesperson told MailOnline: “We have been in contact with Ms Collins to advise her to contact the British Embassy for assistance with emergency travel documents.” This is required when a passport is lost.’
“While we understand the situation, all immigration procedures are determined by the authorities, not the airline, and therefore we must comply with the authorities’ requests.”
