Matt Lucas hopes 2024 will be the year of love as the star has joined Tinder.
The Sun revealed that the Little Britain star decided to try his luck at online dating on the popular app, which allows users to swipe right on those they see as a potential partner.
Matt, 49, created his profile with a beaming selfie and said he is so far unsure what kind of relationship he hopes to find.
On his verified profile, the star posted a confused emoticon followed by the caption, “Still putting off” what he wants in a potential partner.
As a tribute to his role in Little Britain and as a presenter of The Great British Bake Off, Matt is seen in another photo with a cake labeled “Chocolit” and a photo of his famous Little Britain character Marjorie Dawes.

The Little Britain star decided to try her hand at online dating on the popular app (pictured with David Walliams).
His profile also includes Tight Fit’s “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” as an “anthem” and lists his main interests as West End musicals, comedy, music and football.
Matt keeps his dating life relatively private, but this isn’t the first time the star has reportedly used Tinder.
Before online dating, Matt was heartbroken after his ex-husband Kevin McGee tragically died by suicide a year after their divorce in 2009.
In 2015, he used Tinder hoping to find love, and encouraged his fans to “say hi” if they happen to swipe right and see his face there.
Appearing on The Jonathon Ross Show, he said: “I do it, I love it, it’s like a game, right? I had appointments. The people were very nice, no nonsense, just good old fashioned dating.
“The interesting thing about Tinder is that in the straight community, Tinder says, ‘Let’s get along,’ but in the gay community, there’s this thing called Grindr. I tried it for a while, but I didn’t really like it.” It really was. I only meet people for sex.
“But Tinder is about dating, about hookups. If you see me there, say hello!”
In 2018, it was revealed that he had moved up to the next level and purchased the dating app’s premium subscription.

As a tribute to his role in Little Britain and as host of The Great British Bake Off, Matt can be seen in another picture with a cake labeled ‘Chocolit’.

Matt shared one of his conversations with a match, mocking a potential suitor who asked if he would star in Doctor Who. Matt replied: “I have to fend off Mondasian Cybermen” – a reference to his last episode on the BBC television show in 2017.
The Bridesmaids actor lived up to his trademark humor when he shared a snap of the hilarious exchange with his 964,000 fans on Twitter on Sunday.
Matt started the conversation with “Hello, how are you?” (sic)’.
However, his Tinder colleague was keen to find out more about the Paddington native’s previous acting endeavors and said: “Hi, are you the Doctor Who guy??”
Matt joked: “Yeah, but please don’t tell anyone I’m on Tinder. I am destined to fight against Lunar Asian Cybermen.’
