Coronation Street star Lisa George has reportedly left the soap after thirteen years.
The 50-year-old actress reportedly decided to leave the rocks to pursue “new challenges” after first making her debut as Beth Tinker in 2011.
According to The Sun, Lisa’s exit storyline will air this summer and will be “just as dramatic as her”.
A source said: “Lisa has been with Corrie for a long time and she’s had great storylines.”
“She became a fan favorite with her comedic scenes, but heartbreaking storylines like Sinead’s death left viewers sobbing.”

“She loves Corrie and it’s in her bones, but she feels it’s the right time to move on and take on new challenges.”

Beth originally came to the streets out of love for Stee McDonald, but quickly developed a romance with Kirk Sutherland.

Just days after it was revealed that long-time star Alex Bain has also decided to part ways with Corrie.
The 22-year-old actor has played Simon Barlow since he was seven and is set to leave him in an explosive storyline this summer.
Alex, who became a father in real life in 2018, is said to be “very excited” to be leaving the ITV soap.
A source told The Sun: “Alex is sad to leave Coronation Street because it really is like a family, but he realizes it’s time to move on.” He is very excited about the future and other opportunities.”
