Chris Pine spent his Christmas Eve alone stocking up for the holidays.
The 43-year-old actor was spotted stopping by a Gelson’s in Los Angeles to do some last minute shopping.
The appearance comes a month after the Star Trek star defended his tiny shorts as a “vibe”.
Pine came out. He wore a white T-shirt under a blue denim jacket and a silver chain hung from his neck.
He was seen returning to his car with a brown grocery bag from the supermarket in his hand.

The actor completed his look with matching dark blue jeans with rolled up cuffs and brown shoes for the outing.
Pine made headlines in October when he was spotted wearing tiny shorts, a mustard yellow hoodie and brown loafers.
In an interview in November, he defended the look by saying: “They’re called shorts, right? They have to be short.”
“Cord pants. I mean, it’s a mood. It’s the best atmosphere. It’s like a Tom Selleck vibe. It feels like a 70s surfer vibe. I like this better,” he added.
The “Wish” star was referring to actor Selleck, who played Richard on “Friends” before making a name for himself as shorts-wearing TV detective Magnum PI.
“It’s like Showtime. Lakers – would you rather see them in shorts and Magic Johnson looking like a basketball player and athlete instead of wearing some kind of capri pants on the floor?” Chris hilariously continued. “NONE. So I wear the shorts.”
How long will he show what he can do? “Until your legs give in,” he admitted.
Chris’ defense of his fashion choices comes after he recently took on his meme-worthy personal style, describing it as “wobbly”. Per People.

His “jiggy” style was on full display during his recent visit to the gym, where he took Twitter by storm after rocking a PBS crew neck tank, skin tight leggings (again) and Huarache sandals.
The highlight was Chris’ cashmere jacket with rainbow sherbet stripes, which sparked a firestorm on social media when one follower called the hunk a “Los Feliz mom” who drives her Prius around her kids at a non- church Quaker high school download. .
Another user tagged the look as “Lisa Rinna was bitten by a werewolf,” while Chris sported shaggy hair and a beard.
Despite the last-minute aesthetic, Chris doesn’t settle for second-hand finds: The colorful sweater comes from popular celebrity brand The Elder Statesman and retails for just $2,395.
Chris is no stranger to mocking people online, having been the most popular on Twitter during most of the promotional tour for Don’t Worry Darling, including the famous Spitgate with Harry Styles.
