Colman Domingo on why ‘Rustin’ matters, Mister in ‘The Color Purple’ and where ‘Euphoria’ could go – the actor’s side

Colman Domingo is at a career high thanks to his Oscar-winning portrayal of civil rights activist Bayard Rustin Quiet about his bold portrayal of Mister in the new musical film adaptation of The color purple to its extraordinary twist at the world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival Sing, sing.

And that is not all. Domingo won an Emmy last season euphoria, his iconic work in the popular Fear the walking death as Victor Strand and numerous memorable roles over the years in films such as Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, If Beale Street Could Talk, 42, Selma, The Butler, Lincoln and so on. His Broadway stage work has earned him awards and Tony nominations, and he continues to excel in every role he plays, regardless of the medium.
