Husband of Mama June’s late daughter Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell recalls her last breath in emotional new comments

Anna “Chickadee” CardwellHusband, Eldrige Toney, opened up about his wife’s heartbreaking final moments in an emotional new interview. The reality star died on December 9. “Everyone was crying and going crazy because we all knew what was happening,” she said. Eldrige secretly married Anna in March, just months after her devastating stage four adrenal cancer diagnosis. He says he and his ailing wife spoke the day before he died. “The day before his death we spoke and said goodbye,” he told the channel. “His dying wish was for his daughters to grow up knowing who their mother was. And I promised that I would always do what was right for girls. “I will spend my life doing what is right for Anna and the girls.” Anna had two daughters, kaitlyn11 am Kylee8 years old and his death occurred on his youngest daughter’s birthday.

Mama June Shannon announced the death of his eldest daughter, aged just 29, on Sunday 10 December, in a statement on social media. “With a broken heart we announce that @annamarie35 is no longer with us. He passed away peacefully at my home last night at 11.12pm,” she said Here comes the baby boo boo The star wrote alongside a family photo.

The family gathered for the funeral on Wednesday. PEOPLE reported that the funeral took place at the Williams-White Columns Funeral Home in Gordon, Georgia, with a private service and a public visitation. Mobile phones were reportedly banned and the newspaper reported that a slideshow of the famous family was shown.

In a post announcing the December 11 memorial service, Mama June thanked fans for their support during the tragic loss. “We love you,” she captioned a video post. “We appreciate everyone who sent well wishes, sent their prayers and everything, not just us before. [sic] their children.”
