Marion Grasby shared her favorite recipes for easy summer fun on a budget.
The celebrity chef and MasterChef Australia star’s dishes are perfect for an Australian summer Christmas or any other festive occasion over the festive season.
She suggests making her Crying Tiger Lamb dish as a cheap, plentiful and delicious option.
“The lamb shank steak in particular is a really good cut of meat because you can slice it really thin and then fan it out, which creates that nice look of stuffing, but you don’t need to buy as much as you might think.” she tells Yahoo.
“You spread it out and then you have all your wonderful herbs, the salad, the rice and all the little side dishes that people choose from.”

Another meal she recommends is her grilled Thai-style panang lamb chops, which she calls the “ultimate main dish” because it’s quick and only requires “a little grilling.”
“I can heat it up and fix it, and then it’s just grilled, and everybody loves to stand in the sun with a cold beer or a margarita and watch the lamb roast.” Look, she said.
“It’s a very easy cut of meat to grill. It has a nice fat and cooks very quickly, so you don’t have to wait long.”
It comes after Chrissie Swan revealed her secret recipe for a quick and easy chocolate cake that’s a hit every time.

In a video on Instagram, the television personality showed how she baked her special chocolate cake.
Only three ingredients are required: 500ml of heavy cream, a generous dollop of Queen vanilla paste and a 250g packet of Arnott’s Choc Ripple biscuits.
Chrissie explained that all you have to do is “beat the cream really thick and then build your block.”
She described the cookies as “bricks” and the cream as a “mortar,” joining the cookies and cream together to form a block.
The dessert is then wrapped in foil and stored in the fridge overnight before being cut diagonally to serve.
As an optional extra, Chrissie suggested crushing a bar of Peppermint Crisp chocolate to decorate, plus some Christmas ornaments for a seasonal touch.
