How to watch the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, including performances from Mariah Carey, Morgan Wallen and more

The 2023 Billboard Music Awards take place today, November 19, and it’s not your typical awards show. This year Billboard has a new format.

Instead of a single arena, the ceremony will feature performances and acceptance speeches “at global venues, amid sold-out tours and in custom venues,” producers say.

The Billboard Music Awards will not be broadcast live on any television network. Instead, the event can be watched online at BBMAs.watch starting at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

All awards announcements will be made on the Billboard and Billboard Music Awards social media channels. Announcement of selected winners begins at 5:00 PM ET/2:00 PM PT.

You can also follow the Billboard Music Awards on the show’s official social media platforms: Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads and YouTube.

The cast of the show includes David Guetta and Bebe Rexha, Karol G, NewJeans, Mariah Carey, Morgan Wallen, Peso Pluma, Stray Kids and Tate McRae.

During the performances, Wallen will sing “98 Braves” from the Atlanta Braves’ home stadium, Truist Park in Atlanta.

Carey will perform “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” marking the first time the Christmas gem has ever been performed at an awards show.

Peso Pluma’s performance of “Rubicón” includes a special guest appearance from boxing legend Mike Tyson, a self-proclaimed Pluma superfan.

McRae will make her BBMA debut with her hit “Greedy” and Rexha and Guetta will perform “I’m Good (Blue)” and “One in a Million.”

Stray Kids make their BBMA debut with an action-packed performance featuring two of their hit singles, “S-Class” and “LALALALA.”

NewJeans will perform “Super Shy” and “OMG,” two of their five Hot 100 songs this year.

Taylor Swift was the top BBMA nominee with awards in twenty categories. Wallen and SZA are in second place with 17 entries each. They are followed by The Weeknd (16); Drake and Zach Bryan, 14; Luke Combs (10); 21 Savage, Metro Boomin and Miley Cyrus (nine each); Beyoncé and Rema (seven each); Bad Bunny and Pluma (six each); and Ariana Grande, Guetta, Eslabon Armado, Karol G, NewJeans and Selena Gomez (five each).

The BBMAs for 2023 will be determined based on year-end performance data on the Billboard charts.
