A new report suggests that Coldplay may be heading to Melbourne.
The British superstars have just completed two very special shows at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia on Saturday and Sunday night.
They could head to Victoria next, with the Herald Sun claiming on Sunday that tour insiders say an announcement is “imminent”.
However, the “stadium shows” won’t happen until 2024, likely after the band has played in Bangkok, Singapore and Manila in January and February, the release said.
Adding to the mystery, a tour poster appeared online Sunday claiming Coldplay would be coming to Marvel Stadium and Accor Stadium in October and November next year, but Live Nation has yet to comment on the speculation.

Coldplay performed two very special shows in Perth at Optus Stadium on November 18th and 19th.
Both concerts were sold out – 120,000 tickets were sold and the band expected to earn around £12 million (AUD$22 million).
Coldplay fans promised a “spectacular show” that would be “full of lasers, fireworks and LED bracelets”.
The popular group last performed in Australia in 2016 and these concerts were their first in the Washington capital since February 2009.

After that they could travel to Victoria. A report on Sunday said tour insiders said an announcement was “imminent”. But the “stadium shows” will not take place until 2024

Adding to the mystery, a tour poster appeared online Sunday saying Coldplay would be coming to Marvel Stadium and Accor Stadium in October and November next year.
Frontman Chris Martin wowed Perth residents by walking barefoot in his suit at Crown Mansions and even posing for photos with a wedding party.
It came after it was revealed how much food and drink was needed to feed the 120,000 guests who attended the band’s two concerts in Perth.
Food for sale includes a whopping nine tons of hot fries (or fries as they’re called in the US), as well as special Coldplay-style burgers.
A Channel Nine news report on Saturday revealed that 500 kegs of beer and 35,000 larger cans were imported, as well as 50,000 cans of ginger beer.
More than 8,000 burgers were expected to be sold, including the aptly named “Fish You” and “Viva La Vegan” offerings.
