Nicolas Cage is currently staying with his family in Yallingup, Western Australia while filming his upcoming film The Surfer.
And on Saturday, the 59-year-old Hollywood star shocked viewers when he stumbled across the beach looking completely exhausted while filming a fight scene.
Cage was almost unrecognizable under bloodied and bruised makeup as he performed an intense fight scene with an opponent.
Wearing an orange shirt covered in sweat and blood and gray pants, he runs barefoot across the glistening sand.
His brown hair was disheveled and he had a rough five o’clock shadow when he jumped into the water to wrestle an opponent.

At one point during filming, Cage got into a fight with another actor and ended up in a standoff as his character emerged victorious from the fight scene.
The California native was then seen picking up a “Locals Only” sign on the beach and pretending to hit his co-star over the head with it as filming ended.
The Con Air star then enjoyed a well-deserved rest and a sip of water in a chair at the foot of the plane as he donned a pair of stylish sunglasses to take in the scenic view.

‘[The film] It is about Nicolas Cage, a man who returns to his hometown after many years outside the region. The focus is on him taking on a local surf gang that has claimed ownership of a remote beach since he was a teenager.”
