Shania Twain has broken her silence after it was revealed that several members of her tour team were hospitalized following a horrific tour bus accident in Canada.

The country icon assured fans that her “travel family” is now “safe” and receiving medical attention following the incident, which happened early Wednesday morning.

“Thank you for everyone’s love and support,” Twain (58) began her statement on Friday.

“First of all, my traveling family is safe. Anyone who needs medical care receives great support. The local community and every crew member were phenomenal, despite the very scary scenario.”

She ended the emotional post with: “Hurd and hold the ones you love, we do the same!”

Twain knows this situation all too well, as her parents died in a car accident in 1987.
