Even after 20 years, the magic of NSYNC has not been lost! Joey Fatone revealed that it was a perfect reunion when the group came together to record their song “Better Place,” in an exclusive interview with Hollywood life. The singer discussed the NSYNC reunion while promoting his collaboration with the AirSculpt body contouring treatment. When asked what it was like to be back with his old bandmates, Joey admits, “It felt like no time had passed.”
Although “Better Place” was the first new song the band released in 20 years, Joey said they picked up where they left off, especially with Justin Timberlake serving as the song’s producer. “It’s like, ‘Hey, let’s come in and do what we do.’ We all work together in the studio, producing in one way or another. It was just natural,” he says. “We did the same thing with our old albums. Whoever wrote or produced that album was there. So with Justin there, it was like riding a bike. It was like, ‘Hey, let’s come in here and sing the parts.’ Let’s do what we have to do.’”
It was clear that “Better Place” is a one-off single for now, but Joey admitted that he is open to a bigger project in the future, but the band did not discuss future plans. “If we want to make more songs, make an album, I understand that nowadays it’s not an album market anymore. It’s a very singles market. You could release an EP or something really small, a few songs. Maybe I just feel old-fashioned. “I’d like to do a full album,” he says. “Maybe we’ll just tour for a minute and then make an album. “If everyone is willing to do this, I think there are a lot of things we can do.”
In addition to the chance to listen to new music, Joey also revealed that he feels great after undergoing the AirSculpt body contouring treatment. AirSculpt is a “minimally invasive treatment” that “permanently removes fat and tightens skin.”
About a month after the treatment, Joey looks amazing and is very happy with the results. “The results are crazy, just a month later what the results were like. I mean, my chin, you can see it now. And the crazy thing is that you can’t even see a scar,” she says. “This is crazy!”

Joey also revealed that his recovery time was very quick, explaining that after just two days he recovered easily. “After 48 hours, [it’s] Well. You feel numb. You undergo a small surgery on your own,” he explains. “But you feel great. I didn’t feel sick. “I didn’t feel dizzy or anything.”
While he said he’s not “getting ready to tour” with AirSculpt, Joey also talked about NSYNC fans hoping for a reunion tour. As with the new album, he said the group has yet to discuss possible performances. “I’d like to give you an answer. Whether yes or no, I hate to say “I don’t know yet”, but it’s true. I don’t know at this point why we still have to sit down and have a meeting or a conversation,” he tells HL.
While nothing has been decided yet, Joey guarantees there is “hope” for fans. “There is always hope. I’m great Star Wars fans,” he says. “There’s always new hope in this matter.”
