Keke Palmer is reportedly asking for custody of her son amid the Darius Jackson drama

Later in the documents, the 30-year-old recalled “many instances” of alleged “physical violence.” He accused his ex of allegedly “destroying” his “personal property”, including “diaries and eyeglasses”. Keke also said she threw his belongings “into the street” and threw “his car keys to stop me from leaving.”

Keke’s lawsuit comes four months after Darius made headlines for publicly shaming her for wearing a sexy outfit to a Usher Concert in Las Vegas. After the video went viral Serenading Keke, 45, in the chic ensemble, Darius took to X (Twitter) to criticize her for wearing the dress. “It’s the outfit, but you’re a mom,” he tweeted the post on July 5. He has since deleted his tweets on the topic.

At that point, Darius doubled down on his comments and added another note about not wanting Keke to “show” her body to the world. “We live in a generation where a family man doesn’t want his wife and the mother of his children to show their cheekbones to please others and hear how much she hates him,” he wrote. “This is my family and my representation. I have standards and morals for what I believe. I have nothing to add.

Keke later took to TikTok to respond to her ex’s comments with a video of her dancing. “You won’t be able to stop what’s happening to me, honey, so if you misbehave, I’m about to go online,” the audio clip boasted.

After the group’s debacle, Keke and Darius reportedly resigned on August 16, due to Entertainment tonight. “Keke and Darius broke up shortly after he criticized her on Twitter for her outfit at the Usher show,” a source said at the time. “Keke is focusing on her work and her 6-month-old son. The actor and Darius are co-parents, but for now they are not together.”

Despite the news of their split, a few weeks later, the couple was spotted celebrating their 30th anniversary together on Aug. 26.
