Then there are some people within the Elvis Presley estate who are also reportedly unhappy with the film, calling it a potential cash grab.

“It feels like a college movie,” an official said, as reported by HNHH. “The sets are just terrible, Graceland doesn’t look like that.” Critics described Coppola’s screenplay and direction as “terrible”.

Since then, the film was released in limited theaters in the United States by A24 on October 27 before its wide release on November 3.
