Bill, previously host of 4BC Weekends, was immediately appointed as the new presenter of the 9am-12pm weekday timeslot.
The shock move took effect immediately in September, and Bill officially took office on September 18.
This is despite Hadley’s Morning being the highest-rated program on 4BC, with more than 7 per cent of viewers according to the latest ratings.
Max Dudley, content manager at 4BC, said the move was based on local content strategy.
