The return date of HBO’s hit series “House Of The Dragon” has been confirmed.
According to HBO network boss Casey Bloys, the Game Of Thrones sequel will premiere in “early summer” 2024.
According to Variety , the director attended a press event in New York on Thursday where the first trailer for season two was shown exclusively to the press.
However, details are being kept secret as the content of the images is subject to an embargo.

Either way, it’s an exciting time to be a GOT fan, as Bloys talked about the other upcoming spin-offs in a Q&A segment.
Casey expects the spin-off A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight to begin filming next spring, unless the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike ends by then.
House Of The Dragon premiered its first season of 10 episodes on August 21, 2022.
The first episode received high ratings as it attracted a whopping 10 million viewers, leading to the renewal of the second season within just a week of its premiere.
Each episode of House of the Dragon’s first season averaged 29 million viewers in the United States
The series takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and is based on the Fire & Blood novels by George RR Martin.
Filming for the second season began in May despite the writers’ strike in the US, while production continued in the UK, a source told Variety.
An insider told the publication that the scripts for the series have been ready for some time and that this will not affect filming.

Filming was also unaffected by the Screen Actors Guild strike due to local union rules.
The show’s cast consists primarily of British actors working under equity contracts, rather than SAG-AFTRA.
Although Equity has expressed support for the Hollywood union, Equity members are not legally allowed to strike in solidarity.
The union released a memo: “Due to existing anti-union laws in the UK, SAG-AFTRA members currently working under an Equity UK collective agreement must continue to report to work.”
“An artist who joins the UK strike (or refuses to cross a picket line) has no protection against dismissal or prosecution for breach of contract by the producer or activist.”
“If Equity encourages anyone to join the strike or not to cross the picket lines, Equity itself is acting unlawfully and is therefore liable for damages or an injunction.”
Although House of the Dragon is an HBO series set in the US, actors who are SAG-AFTRA members but work under an Equity contract in the UK are required to report to work.
Ryan Condal, showrunner and executive producer of the series, teased fans by saying, “House of the Dragon is back.”

Epic: Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series is based on the Fire & Blood novels by George RR Martin (Wil Johnson, Matt Smith and Theo Nate are seen from left to right).
“We are excited to be filming again with members of our original family and new talent on both sides of the camera.
“All your favorite characters will soon be conspiring at the board tables, raising their armies and riding their dragons into battle.
“We can’t wait to share with you what we have in store.”
The first season received high praise from critics, particularly praising the series’ visual effects and character development.
