The Voice has apparently suspended a second coach after Olly Murs launched a scathing attack on the singing show after his own departure was confirmed.
ITV has reportedly cut ties with Anne-Marie from the Rotating Red Seats ahead of the 2024 series to give the show a “refresh”.
The Essex beauty appeared on the show in 2021 alongside Olly, Tom Jones and will.i.am and it seemed to go down well with viewers.
However, it is now claimed that bosses are trying to bring in new industry stars to appeal to a younger audience.
A source told The Sun: “Anne-Marie loved being part of the show but producers want to give the series a refresh.”

A spokesperson said simply: “The Voice UK returns to ITV1 and ITVX for a brand new series on Saturday 4 November at 8.25pm with coaches will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Anne-Marie and Olly Murs returning. ” of the 2024 series will be confirmed in due course.” MailOnline has contacted Anne-Marie’s representatives.
The shock comes after Olly, 39, hit out at The Voice after he was dropped, admitting he was “taken out”.
He said: “I got a call last week telling me I wasn’t going to be on the show anymore and it’s a bit of a shock to be honest. ‘I wasn’t really expecting it. wouldn’t happen.’
Speaking about the decision, he continued: “But I don’t want to sit here like other artists and glorify and sugar coat it and say, ‘It was my decision.’ I don’t want to do that.
“I don’t want to mock my fans or people watching the show and say, ‘Oh, it was a mutual decision to leave – I have a lot to do next year.’ can’t do it anymore. NONE.’

Olly’s resignation comes six years after he took part in the show and is yet to attend the launch of the new series next month.
But it looks like Olly won’t be away from TV screens for long as he could replace 32-year-old Rita Ora on The Masked Singer, who is reportedly pulling out of the show.
The singer, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009, will appear alongside Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and comedian Mo Gilligan next season.
