The Great Australian Bake Off paid tribute to its late star Cal Wilson during the Foxtel Upfronts on Thursday.
The producers of the hit show have paid a moving tribute to Wilson, who died suddenly at the age of 53 while filming the final season of the cooking show.
During the launch, a beautiful photo of a smiling Wilson was projected onto a large screen, announcing that The Great Australian Bake Off would return to screens in 2024.
The photo was later shared with the caption “In Memory of Cal Wilson – 1970-2023.” [Twitter].
Wilson will appear in the new season alongside co-host Natalie Tran and judges Rachel Khoo and Darren Purchese, TV Tonight reports.

The Melbourne-based stand-up comedian is survived by her husband Chris Woods and their 14-year-old son Digby.
Wilson was filming The Great Australian Bake Off for Foxtel in Sydney in September when she fell ill.
When she felt ill, she was admitted to hospital, her management told Daily Mail Australia.

They confirmed she was suffering from a rare form of cancer but declined to discuss her symptoms.
It comes after Foxtel previewed what viewers can expect at its Upfronts show next year.
