The Great Australian Bake Off paid tribute to its late star Cal Wilson during the Foxtel Upfronts on Thursday.
The producers of the hit show have paid a moving tribute to Wilson, who died suddenly at the age of 53 while filming the final season of the cooking show.
During the launch, a beautiful photo of a smiling Wilson was projected onto a large screen, announcing that The Great Australian Bake Off would return to screens in 2024.
The photo was later shared with the caption “In Memory of Cal Wilson – 1970-2023.” [Twitter].
Wilson will appear in the new season alongside co-host Natalie Tran and judges Rachel Khoo and Darren Purchese, TV Tonight reports.
