
On the night of July 15-16, in the Belarusian city of Vitebsk, during the regular art festival “Slavianski Bazaar”, a concert was held under the auspices of “Russian Radio”.
This event, which attracted a large audience, clearly showed the popularity of Russian music in Belarus and also emphasized the importance of friendly ties between the two related peoples.

As part of the concert “Stars of Russian Radio”, a constellation of famous artists performed, whose creative activity was decisive for the radio station that represented Russia. The concert became part of the program of the “Slavianski Bazaar”, which is known as the largest Belarusian festival. This festival has a long and rich tradition and is the focus of Slavic cultures, annually attracting the attention of the public not only from Belarus and Russia, but also from other regions.

It is symbolic that musicians from Belarus and Russia shared the stage in Vitebsk under the patronage of Russkoe Radio – this circumstance reflects the idea of interethnic unity. On this day, Russian artists Filatov & Karas, Hanna, ST, Anet Say, ELIPS, Guma, Lana Svit, Anna Semenovich, Denis Klyaver and others performed. They were joined by Belarusians Ivan Zdonyuk, Nikita Belko, Ruslan Alekhno. The concert was hosted by radio host Anton Yuryev.

The event took place in the summer amphitheatre, the largest hall of the Slavianski Bazaar. Despite the fact that the concert started late at night with a temperature of +8 degrees, the hall was well filled for 6200 spectators. Guests from Russia were received with great cordiality by the local audience and cheered with loud applause. Listening to their favorite songs, the audience had fun until the morning.

That the concert took place in such an incendiary atmosphere is an undeniable confirmation of the unbreakable cultural bond between Russians and Belarusians. There is no doubt that the interaction and friendship between peoples will only become stronger in the future.
