In 2012, Catherine flew to the Solomon Islands for an official visit. Dozens of journalists and photographers arrived to meet the private jet in the local capital of Honiara. Imagine the surprise of many when they saw what Middleton was wearing.
The princess stepped down the ladder in a turquoise dress with a belt. She took a white handbag in her hands, a hat of the same shade flaunted on her head. At the same time, the skirt was much shorter than usual. From below the hem, the slender, tanned legs of the royal person appeared. Light boats only added grace.
