The second season of Stan’s hit Emmy Award series Hacks received critical acclaim from television critics.
Starring Jean Smart, the series combines drama and laughter as it explores the conflict in Las Vegas between a comedy legend and a 20-year-old humorist played by Hannah Einberger.
The first season proved to be a success with fans and critics alike, and the new eight-episode series premiered on the broadcast giant on Saturday to critical acclaim.

The trailer for the new series shows fans what to expect.
Season 2 features an all-out war, a trash can dive, and a shootout in a spiritual shop.
The trailer also shows Ava trying to spill Deborah’s dirty laundry after last season’s epic battle.
The trailer opens with Deborah planning her tour with her crew and hiring tour manager Alice (Laurie Metcalf).

‘Welcome to paradise!’ Alice says as she boards the first-class tour bus, complete with sauna and luxury bedroom.
But the love-hate dynamic between Ava and Deborah doesn’t seem to have changed much.
“I can find one of their face creams. I’m looking for a place for my kombucha,” Ava asks the disinterested Deborah. “If it’s not kept cold it will continue to ferment in the bottle and it may explode.”

Hack it: Stan has released a great new trailer for Hacks ahead of the upcoming second season of the comedy-drama series.
“Give it to me,” Deborah says, before picking up the kombucha and throwing it off the moving bus.
Last time the first season ended, Ava had sent an email to a TV show containing unpleasant information about her boss after the two had a fight.
Now Ava must face the consequences of her actions.

“I got drunk and sent a really stupid email,” Ava tells her agent Jimmy (Paul W. Downs) on the phone. “I said pretty self-explanatory things.”
“He’ll kill you,” Jimmy replies angrily.
Meanwhile, comedy legend Deborah has her doubts about the tour and admits she has thinner skin than she suggested.
“I’m not so sure this tour is a good idea,” he admits nervously.
“I thought you didn’t read the reviews because you didn’t care,” Ava replies.
“I don’t read reviews because I care,” Deborah says.

Both seem closer to the road.
Ava looks surprised when Deborah puts her hand on her shoulder as she scatters her father’s ashes in the Grand Canyon.
Jimmy’s hilarious assistant Kayla (Megan Stalter) also returns.
‘Oh my god, you look amazing! Which moisturizer do you use?’ Kayla asks Deborah. “I use Vaseline,” she offers.
“Jimmy,” Kayla said sympathetically as she left the room.
