Michael Gambon is 82 years old.
Fans of “Harry Potter” are divided into two categories: some like Dumbledore from the first two parts, others – from the rest.
The fact is that the wizard was initially played by actor Richard Harris. But shortly before filming Prisoner of Azkaban, he received a fatal diagnosis. This did not change the actor’s plans, and to the end he was determined to beat the disease and continue to play Dumbledore. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2002 and actor Michael Gambon became the director of Hogwarts.
Many believe that his Dumbledore didn’t come out as nicely as the first, but in any case, the actor experienced another round of popularity after the release of the third film.
Now Michael Gambon is 82 years old and hardly acts in films. Since filming, the actor has aged much, but in general he looks cheerful. However, without a beard, Gambon does not look like Dumbledore at all: you can walk by and not recognize him.
