Hamish Blake stays up until 5am to bake an epic Avatar cake for his son’s eighth birthday party

Hamish Blake is the father of two young children, whom he shares with his wife Zoë Foster Blake, a beauty entrepreneur.

And the comedian stayed up until 5 a.m. Saturday after attending a charity event the previous night to bake an Avatar cake for his son Sonny for his eighth birthday party.

Hamish, 40, has gone to great lengths to create an epic treat based on Avatar Aang, the title character of the Nickelodeon animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The proud wife of 41, Zoë, shared a picture of a masterpiece Saturday morning on her Instagram stories, which includes chocolate sponge cake with ganache and marzipan cake decorations from rocks, water and Aang character.

After their performance at a charity event in Sydney on Friday night, as Zoë went to bed, Hamish used much of his “chaotic cake energy” to get there in time.

Earlier on Friday, Hamish told his Instagram followers about the cake letter, admitting that the hardest part would be turning Avatar’s character into marzipan.

Epic: On Saturday morning, proud wife of 41, Zoë Foster Blake, shared on her Instagram stories a ganache chocolate sponge cake decorated with marzipan cake from rocks, sudan and the character Aang.

“I already feel like this sounds too familiar, and the law of averages says I’m ready to flare up, but we’re here anyway,” she tweeted.

“If you want to stop by to see a man succumb to the pressure of making a cartoon figure with icing, I’ll start posting about seven hours in my stories.”

Hamish and Zoë celebrate Sonny’s birthday on Saturday, the boy turns eight on Tuesday.

The Challenge: On Friday, Hamish spoke to his Instagram followers about the letter from the cake, conceding that the hardest part was turning Avatar’s character into marzipan.

The beauty mogul posted a retracted image of Sonny as a kid on Instagram and a touching caption.

He wrote: ‘This gorgeous little nugget turned eight today. Otto looks important!

‘Because? Because eight means crossing the bridge from Kid to Big Kid? Who knows. I have feelings. He’s the best boy I’ve ever had! (Also an only child.)’

He then went on to talk about some of his son’s favorite things, including the LEGO Masters TV show, Avatar and The Last Airbender movies.

Sweet: Hamish and Zoë (photo) celebrate Sonny’s birthday on Saturday, the young man turned eight on Tuesday. Zoë posted a touching caption along with an Instagram photo of Sonny as a child. Also, the couple’s daughter, Rudy, is four years old.

Zoë added that Sonny likes the margarita pizza followed by the chocolate ice cream and “brings home the peach skins and flowers she finds for me.”

It comes after Zoë and Hamish took over a $4.26 million luxury property in Jamberoo, on New South Wales’ south coast.

A Zoe subsidiary quietly bought the six-bedroom, five-bathroom home on private Nuninuna estate late last year, the Daily Telegraph reported.

The couple, who live in a $8,925 million home in Sydney’s Vaucluse district, are said to have expanded their real estate portfolio by purchasing a 90-minute home in Harbor City.

Hamish and Zoe moved to Sydney from their Melbourne home a year ago.

The couple sold their Richmond home in March last year for a staggering $7,435 million before purchasing a family home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for $8,925 million.

In August last year, it was revealed that Zoë sold a majority stake in the Go-To skincare company for $89 million.
